Hi Moja,
No it didnt help. It's even worse now - Outlook just wouldnt take any password - my standard password or app password created in O365.
Office 365 ProPlus 1711 (build 8730.2127 Click-to-Run)
Windows 10
App passwords were set up and worked find on windows laptop.
Also, I can't see how the steps you proposed will resolve the password issue for office apps on my idevices? These are separate to Windows Credential Manager, aren't they?

Hi Sergey Gritsenko,
Based on what you mentioned that the Windows laptop is only connected to your work account , and your "Personal" Microsoft Account works just fine. I would like to help you by resetting Windows credentials.
Remove the credentials is a solution to reset the credential. After removing the credentials you should enter in the password at the first time and check if windows can remember the password.
Please be patient and we will help you with the problem, you may try the following steps, this will also reset the credentials.
1.Sign out all your Office Application.
2.Clear windows credential by the previous steps.
3.Clear the browser cache: ctrl+shift+delete -> delete browser history
4.Open your registry editor: win+r -> type regedit
5.Browse to: hkey_current_user\software\microsoft\office\16.0\common\identity; and then delete the identity folder.
Warning: using registry editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of registry editor can be solved. use registry edit at your own risk
6.Open Word, sign in with your work account. You should enter your password and check if it can be remembered.
If that doesn't work, please provide more information with me
1. Please correct me If my misunderstanding, Based on your recent reply, I think you have set up app password for your work account and after that all applications are worked fine on windows laptop.
2. Screenshot when prompts asking for typing password.
3. Could you please clarify which device is affected? What's the problem in each device?
4. Could you please clarify which application is affected? What's the problem for each application?
Regards,
Moja

Hi Sergey Gritsenko,
Please also refer to Remember Multi-Factor Authentication for trusted devices and browsers to see if you have the correct settings about that.
Thanks,
Moja

Hi Moja,
I think the issue with the Windows laptop is fixed. I'm not sure how this happed, but it must be something to do with the security credential manager (or something called like this) where I had to relink the machine to my work account.
This morning I was asked to sign in to Office apps on my mac and yesterday on my iPhone. This is exactly 14 days after I last signed in, which is the current setting for trusted devices in our O365 tenant. I've changed that setting to the maximum allowed 60 days. Will let you know if I'm asked to sign in agin before the 60 days.
